Nazrul in Bengali Literature

NAZRUL AND HIS CREATION IN BENGALI LITERATURE

Kazi Nazrul has an authentic and unique place in Bengali literature as well as language. If I try to talk about Bengali literature, Nazrul comes like by default system. Where did he not entered in Bangla literature?

Is there any section in Bengali literature where Nazrul has no influence?

The answer is very simple - "No". No section in our literature can be imagined without him. He ran over all field of literature. He wrote about the then political situation, he composed a bunch of Song which will be ever fresh for all the times, era etc. Nazrul  composed Gajal, he also wrote songs poems and songs related to our war of liberation and the culture and emotion of us. He is like a tiger for our literature. His thinking style is unique. Some special songs can be remembered this moment, like -

• Eto jol o kajol chokhe pashani anlo bolo ke
• Ami je tomar, shudhu je tomar
• Cheyeona, sunoyona, ar cheyona e noyon pane
• Ami cirotore dure chole jabo tobu amare debona bhulite..

His relevance and influence is everywhere on us.
